Age Limit – BARC Recruitment 2026
Minimum Age Limit: 18 years (Age as on August 1, 2026).
Maximum Age Limit for General Category: 26 years.
Maximum Age Limit for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 29 years.
Maximum Age Limit for SC/ST: 31 years.
Maximum Age Limit for Dependents of those who died in the riots of 1984: 31 years.
Maximum Age Limit for Persons domiciled in Kashmir Division of Jammu and Kashmir State from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989: 31 years.
Persons with physical disability with extent of disability 40% or more will be considered for age relaxation and may be permitted a scribe as per rules.
Age Relaxation is applicαble as per the rules.
Application Fee – BARC Recruitment 2026
A non-refundable Application Fee of ₹ 500/- is chargeable from male applicants belonging to General and OBC categories.
Women candidates, transgender candidates, candidates belonging to SC/ST category, Dependents of Defence Personnel Killed in Action (DODPKIA) and physically challenged candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
Candidates who have availed fee exemption are required to bring valid relevant proof for verification at the exam centre.
