Age Limit – ECIL Recruitment 2026
Age Limit (UR): Project Engineer – maximum 33 years; Technical Officer, Assistant Project Engineer and Senior Artisan – maximum 30 years. Age relaxation is 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, an additional 10 years for PwBD (40% and above) over category relaxation, and 5 years for candidates domiciled in J&K from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
Age Relaxation is applicαble as per the rules.

Eligibility
Project Engineer (PE-C): B.E./B.Tech with ≥60% marks (50% for SC/ST) in ECE/EEE/CSE/Mechanical/Electrical + 3 years experience.
Technical Officer (TO-C): B.E./B.Tech ≥60% in ECE/Electrical/CSE/IT + 1 year experience (apprenticeship counts).
Assistant Project Engineer (APE-C): Diploma ≥60% in ECE/EEE/Instrumentation + 1 year experience.
Senior Artisan (SA-C): ITI in Electronics/Electrician/Instrumentation + 2 years experience.
