NHPC is an NSE and ESB listed company following a successful IPO in 2009. , NHPC has an authorized share capital of ₹15,000 crore, a paid-up share capital of ₹10,045.03 crore and an investment base of ₹74,71512 crore as of March 31, 2023. , The total installed capacity of NHPC as of April 30, 2023 is 7,097.20 MW, of which 1,546 MW under the joint venture, of which 6,971.20 MW from 22 hydroelectric power plants, 76 MW from two solar projects and 50 MW from a wind project.
