Written Examination

• Two papers, each 2 hours long:
  • Paper I – General Hindi: 100 objective questions, total 200 marks.
  • Paper II – General Knowledge & General Science: 100 objective questions, total 200 marks.
• Negative marking: ⅓ mark deducted for each wrong answer
• Passing Criteria:
  • Minimum 36% in each paper, and at least 40% aggregate to pasS

Physical Standards & Efficiency Test (PST & PET)

• Physical Standards (PST):
  • Men: Height ≥ 168 cm; Chest 81–86 cm (with a minimum 5 cm expansion).
  • Women: Height ≥ 152 cm.
    
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) includes:
  • For male candidates: 100 m race, long jump, chinning up (overhead beam).
  • For female candidates: 100 m race, long jump, and shot put.
