About Samagra Shiksha Chatra Recruitment 2023 – 161 TGT, PGT Job Vacancy Apply Offline

Chatra District was a subdivision of Hazaribagh District and was formed as empty districts. 128 of 29 May 1991 Department of Personnel and Administrative Reform, Govt. from Bihar. The district consists of two subdivisions, 12 Development Blocks/Anchals, 154 Panchayats and 1474 Revenue Villages.There is only one municipality: it is located in the Komendy Czatra district.

There are 15 thanas (police station) in Chatra district. Chatra is going through a very serious period of extremist violence at the hands of the outlawed organization Naxal M.C.C.(Maoist communist center). However, in the recent past, the Chatra police managed to stop the Naxal Wave Red Wave.

Chatra police made several significant arrests of Naxalite personnel and confiscated a range of weapons and ammunition, as well as lethal materials and explosive devices. The success of the Chatra police against Naxal suits has largely resulted in a reduction in Naxal violence.

Since June 16, 2001, there is a legal system for all purposes.Headed by a District and Session Judge, assisted by an Additional District Judge, Chief Justice, Justices of the Peace and Judge Munsiff. There is also a district consumer forum in the district. The forestry part consists of 4 land divisions (North, South Chatra, Koderma, West Hazaribagh), a reforestation division and 2 state trade divisions.

The Chatra forest is rich in a variety of medicinal plants, kendu leaves, bamboo, sal, teak, other woods and a variety of species of wild carnivores and herbivores. There is a wildlife sanctuary in the district also known as Lawalong Wildlife Sanctuary which is also home to tigers.The shrine was built in accordance with Bihar Government Notice No. 49/48/333-F dated July 15, 1978.

There are 82 villages in the reserve, 21 of which are in the central area and 61 in the buffer zone. The area of ​​the sanctuary is 26,886.23 hectares.In the sanctuary the main animals that can be found are tigers, leopards, bears, nilgai, sambhar, peacocks, wild boar and deer as well as various snakes and birds.
