About Sports Authority of India Recruitment 2023 – 152 Coach, Sr Coach & Other Job Vacancy Apply Online

The Sports Authority of India (SAI) was established in 1984 to commemorate the legacy of the IX. Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982 under the Ministry of Sport. The SAl is entrusted with a double goal: the promotion of sport and the achievement of top sporting performance at national and international level.

SAI was incorporated as an association under the Associations Act 1860 under Government Resolution No. 1-1/83/SAI of 25 January 1984. India with the aim of to promote sport and games as described in the resolution.

SAI has played a significant role in shaping the development of Indian sport, providing training for top athletes and running a number of programs to identify and develop young talent. The programs are conducted by various regional centers and SAI training centers across the country.

In addition, SAI also offers a range of academic programs in the field of physical education and sport. SAI has also been contracted for the maintenance and use of on behalf of the Ministry of Youth and Environment. Sport, the following stadiums in Delhi built/renovated for the 9th Asian Games 1982 in New Delhi.
